“Teacher Preparation in an Era of Reform” is the title for a lecture by Suzanne Wilson, the University Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Teacher Education at Michigan State University. She is also director of the Center for the Scholarship of Teaching at MSU’s College of Education. Her work spans several areas, including teacher learning, teacher knowledge, and the connection between education policy and teacher practice. Her current research focuses on developing sound measures to track what teachers learn in teacher preparation.
